Thermal Mud Soap 'HOLY LAKE'

With medical mud and water from the Pomorie lagoon-lake, also known as the "Holy Lake" of the ancient Greek colony Apolonia

The lake is a hyperhaline naturally formed lagoon. The salt content of the lake is 70%, which is 4 times higher than sea's salt content. The curative properties of the waters and mud from the lake have been known since ancient times as it has been proved by number of archaeological findings. Thracians, Greeks and Byzantines applied here the ancient Egyptian method of treatment with mud in the open thus curing rheumatism, dermal diseases and wounds.

The "Holy Lake" soap has a triple effect provided by:

The sea water of the lake - extremely rich in minerals, microelements and plankton - causes repression on the development of pathogenic microorganism /streptococci, staphylococci, fungi/; it has an antiseptic effect; hastens the process of epitelization, improves blood stream, and accelerates injury treatment.

The Pomorie mud - the curative firth mud is a precious natural product, formed from organic and inorganic compounds, through chemical, biological, and microbiological processes on the bottom of the Pomorie lake. The curative mud from Pomorie is black, fine, greasy, plastic, sticky mass, rich in sulphuretted hydrogen, magnesium, chlorides, calcium, potassium, sodium, sulphates, iron compounds, etc. The mud is put into the soap without processing, as the purpose is maximum preservation of its highly curative and dermatological properties. The mud decreases skin's pH level to neutral, stimulates regenerative processes, improves metabolism, and acts as an antiseptic and hypo-allergenic agent. Its rich sulphur and microelement content replenishes skin in case of dermal disease.

Rapa - thermal (spring) water and lake lye with lake plankton - it is put into the soap in its natural form. It is rich in minerals and microelements and has a strong regenerating, hypoallergenic and antiseptic effect.

The soap is suitable for use as a means everyday hygiene. It has a neutral pH factor - maximum close to human skin's level. It's suitable for all types of skin, with excellent effect on sensitive, easily irritated and problematic skin.
Due to the proven curative properties of the lye mud, the soap is effective in cases of dermal problems, especially ones of the hairy parts of the body.
